29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical: At a worksite located at 4722 Pear Street, St. Joseph, MO: Employees were exposed toxic or hazardous substances. This occurred on or about May 2, 2024, and at times prior to when employees were working in COS lines with secondar spray containers without proper or legible label. This included but was not limited to the use of S2 solvent and RP-754. The employer failed to ensure that all container labels or other forms of warnings were legible, in English, and prominently displayed on the container. a) COS line #14 a secondary container spray bottle was labeled RP-754, but actually contained S2 Solvent. b) COS line #15 a secondary container spray bottle was not labeled, but actually contained S2 Solvent. c) COS line #16 a secondary container spray bottle was labeled RP-754, but actually contained S2 Solvent. The employer Clarios was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1629201, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 17, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 10300 Industrial Rd. Holland, OH 43528.
