29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by: a) On or about June 3, 2024, in the welding area of the Header Shop, employees used a Hougen HMD904 Drill that was not guarded. b) On or about June 3, 2024, in the welding area of the Header Shop, employees used a Mag Drill that was not guarded. Chart Industries was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1690659, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on January 23, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at Chart Industries, 5615 South 129th East Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74134.
