29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about April 4, 2024 the employer BMB Construction LLC at jobsite located at 41 Gone Fishing Ln. Lakeside/Marblehead OH 43440, did not ensure employees were protected from falls while conducting residential roofing construction activities on the third (roof) level of a residential new build single family home. Employees were exposed to falls of 23 feet (from the eaves of the third level roof peak), and 13 feet and 10 inches (from the second level eaves) or greater to the ground below. The roof was a 12:12 pitch.
