29 CFR 1910.124(j)(1)(i): Hoods and ductwork of the ventilation system were not inspected for corrosion or damage at least quarterly during operation: a.) Alpha Precision Group, LLC dba Alpha Sintered Metals, Kohler room, on or about 3/27/24 and at times prior thereto: Regular testing and inspections of the ventilation system were not being conducted to ensure equipment was operating properly and no hazardous conditions existed. The company inspected the ventilation as an annual preventative maintenance task instead of a quarterly inspection. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
