Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) On or about March 22, 2024, on the northwest part of the store in the Chillers and Wash Station Area, where the eyewash station was not available for immediate emergency use. b) On or about March 22, 2024, on the northwest part of the store in the Shipping and Receiving Area, where the eyewash station was not available for immediate emergency use. The KROGER TEXAS L.P. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.151(c) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1662000, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 10 , 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 9919 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77042.
