29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At a worksite located at 1502 SW Arbor Park Drive, Lee's Summit, MO, employees were exposed to fall hazards. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to perform gutter installation activities at heights greater than 6 feet without the use of fall protection or mitigation measures. Instances of this exposure include, but are not limited to: Instance 1: Employees were allowed to perform gutter installation activities on the higher level of the structures roof, at heights greater than 20 feet, without appropriate fall protection. Instance 2: Employees were allowed to perform gutter installation activities on the lower level of the structures roof, at heights greater than 11 feet, without appropriate fall protection.
