29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about 02/28/2024, at a residential construction site located at 1035 Coral Reef Street, Port Saint Lucie, Florida, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet to ground level while using a ladder to egress from a roof without extending the ladder at least 3 feet beyond the upper landing surface.
