29 CFR 1904.31(a):Basic requirement. You must record on the OSHA 300 Log the recordable injuries and illnesses of all employees on your payroll, whether they are labor, executive, hourly, salary, part-time, seasonal, or migrant workers. You also must record the recordable injuries and illnesses that occur to employees who are not on your payroll if you supervise these employees on a day-to-day basis. Located at 1190 Joyce Avenue, Columbus, Ohio: a. On or about February 27, 2024, a subcontractor employee under the control of Machinex Technologies, Inc. was fatally injured at the worksite. As of March 5, 2024, the employer had not recorded the fatality on the 2024 OSHA 300 Log. b. On or about December 14, 2023, a subcontractor employee under the control of Machinex Technologies, Inc. received an arc burn injury to the eyes at the worksite resulting in days away from work. As of March 5, 2024, the employer had not recorded the injury on the 2024 OSHA 300 Log.
