29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. (a) Coating mill - On or about January 25, 2024, the floor at the blasting machine was covered with small pellets causing the floor to be slippery next to the unguarded "V" rollers exposing employees to caught in hazards. Jindal Tubular USA LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 1406641, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/15/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 13092 Seaplane Rd. Bay Saint Louis, MS. 39520.
