29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: On or about January 18, 2024, employees were engaged in work activities related to receiving and sorting scrap material where: a) a fire extinguisher sitting on a shelf in the buyer's bay to the right of office door was not mounted. b) a fire extinguisher sitting on a shelf in the buyer's bay to the right of office door. c) a fire extinguisher sitting on the table just inside office to the right of door leading to buyer's bay was not mounted.
