29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a- 3191 Route 206, Columbus NJ: Workers, not provided with eye/face protection, were exposed to eye injuires when using air nailers during framing and other related activities. Condition noted on or about 01/18/24. Starmax Construction, LLC. was previously cited for a Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1466181, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/28/20, with respect to a workplace located at Joseph Drive, Newton NJ. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.
