29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provided for an alternative fall protection measure: a) Job site, 407 Sharon Drive, Coraopolis, PA: On or about January 18, 2024, during solar panel installation activities, the employer did not ensure that employees used appropriate fall protection systems/devices where exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 15 feet. Sustainable Energy Systems, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1588047 citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 30, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 4 Chloe Drive, Myerstown, PA.
