29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: On or about December 11, 2023, and at times prior thereto, workers were loading and unloading construction materials from the balconies of an apartment building without the use of a fall protection system, exposing workers to a fall hazard of 6 feet or more. The Action Gypsum Supply, L.P was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1507235, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 23, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 4130 Cibolo Canyon, San Antonio, Texas 78261.
