29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) Worksite - Mavis Discount Tire, 261 Jericho Turnpike, Syosset, NY 11791- Employees were exposed to fire hazards due to the exit routes being obstructed by tires in the storage area; on or about November 29, 2023. Mavis Discount Tire was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.37(a)(3), which is contained in OSHA inspection number 1538799 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 27, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 3280 Sheridan Drive, Amherst, NY, 14226. Mavis Discount tire was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.37(a)(3), which is contained in OSHA inspection number 1501453 citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 21, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 775 Walt Whitman Road, Melville, NY, 11747.
