29 CFR 1910.178(l)(4)(iii): An evaluation of each powered industrial truck operator's performance shall be conducted at least once every three years: a) Trader Joe's located at 12 East State Street, Media, PA 19063 - On or about October 16, 2023, the employer did not ensure that an evaluation of each operator's performance operating powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as but not limited to the Yale electric pallet jack, was conducted at least once every three years, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards. Trader Joe's was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1449648, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 20, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 350 Patriots Place, Foxborough, MA 02035.
