29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries. a.) On or about August 23, 2023, the path leading to a fire extinguisher was not readily accessible in the shop. The fire extinguisher was located on a corner isle wall in the middle of the facility. This exposed employees to a fire hazard. b.) On or about August 23, 2023, a fire extinguisher was mounted but did not have marking indicating the location of the fire extinguisher. The fire extinguisher was in the breakroom by the administrative offices. This exposed employees to a fire hazard. c.) On or about August 23, 2023, a fire extinguisher was not mounted (on the floor). The fire extinguisher was located next to the main door leading into the facility. This exposed employees to a fire hazard.
