29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): The employer does not protect each employee from fall hazards while engaged in carpentry work on a sloped roof with the ground to eave heights of up to approximately twenty (20) feet seven (7) inches by the use of guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a. This most recently occurred on August 23, 2023, at 11 Pinnacle Ct., Naperville, IL 60565. Employees engaged in carpentry activity are not protected from fall hazards while working at an elevation of up to approximately twenty (20) feet seven (7) inches above the ground.
