29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c) of this section: (a) On or about July 27, 2023 employees were not protected from cave-ins while working in an excavation that measured more than 5 feet in depth and approximately 2.5 feet wide. SYB Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 1440732, citation number 1, item number 2 that was issued on November 4, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2100 N. Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. The final order date was November 21, 2019.
