29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(10): The employer did not ensure that workplace labels or other forms of warnings were prominently displayed on the container or readily available in the work area throughout each work shift. Main Office: On and/or before July 24, 2023, employee(s) used an unlabeled bottle to disinfect surfaces. The employer did not ensure secondary label containing health and safety warnings were affixed to the bottle for the employee to use. Employee(s) were potentially exposed to eye redness, blurred vision, abrasion to the cornea, nausea, irritation of the nose and/or throat irritations. In the following locations: a) Kitchen, clear container with blue liquid b) Main office, clear spray bottle The Marine Corps was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1647677, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 05, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at MCAS Miramar Building 2514 & 2515 San Diego, CA 92145.
