29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles. Adrian Construction Group LLC does not ensure that employees use appropriate eye protection while engaged in residential construction activities. This violation was most recently observed, on or about 07/25/2023, at 903 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. The employees were engaged in framing activities and positioned on a roof using a pneumatic nail gun are exposed to eye loss and eye injuries as eye protection which was readily available for use onsite was not being used. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within 1 day, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance, including a description of the type of eye protection provided and the steps taken to enforce use of appropriate eye protection where employees are exposed to possible danger of fall hazards.
