29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5): A continuing and effective extermination program was not instituted where rodents, insects, or other vermin were detected: (a) Location - 10 Sylvan Street Peabody, MA 01960: Sales Floor, Product Storage Area(s) On or about 7/18/2023, the employer has not implemented an effective vermin control plan as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents. Employee(s) have been exposed to rodent related hazards such as but not limited to: contact with dead rodents, rodent urine, and rodent feces'. Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc. dba Petco was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1544881, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/02/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 4101 U.S. 77, CORPUS CHRISTI, TX 78410.
