29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye: a. On or about June 27, 2023, an employee was admitted to the hospital and received medical treatment due to smoke inhalation from a fire on line 3-2 in degas. The employee worked to extinguish the fire. The employer failed to report the hospitalization to OSHA.
