29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A):Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolated: a) Diamond Wipes International Inc, on or about June 1, 2023, at the address of 1375 Isaac-Beal Rd. Bucyrus, OH; The employer did not ensure employees tasked with servicing/unjamming activities in proximity of the Fanuc R 2000 IC 270 were adequately trained in energy control recognition and procedures prior to entering the palletizer cell. Employees performing this work without the benefit of training to facilitate recognition of equipment energization, were exposed to hazards such as but not limited to struck by hazards created by the robotic arm. Diamond Wipes International Inc. was previously cited for a violation off this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1376536, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as final order on May 15, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1375 Isaac-Beal Rd.
