29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly. On and/or before April 19, 2023, employee(s) preformed various tasks throughout the casino, such as, clerical work, maintenance, and food prep. Portable fire extinguishers throughout the casino were not inspected at least monthly. Employee(s) were potentially exposed to fire hazard(s). In the following locations: a) Cash Cage b) Main Kitchen c) Maintenance Hallway The Fantasy Springs Resort Casino was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.157(e)(2)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1468094, citation number 3, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 06-23-2020, with respect to a workplace located at 84245 Indio Spring Parkway, Indio, CA 92203.
