29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities such as servicing and/ or maintenance of equipment. a) Production Line 7 - On or about April 13, 2023, employees were exposed to struck-by and electrical shock hazards in that, the employer did not utilize specific procedures to prevent accidental contact with hazardous energy during servicing or maintenance of machinery while an employee was making adjustments to the products bags. Fieldale Farms Poultry, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1478145, citation number 1, item number 1(a) and was affirmed as a final order on September 8, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 5163 Thompson Bridge Road, Murrayville, GA 30564.
