29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) New Hope Farm, 5937 Route 11, Homer, NY 13077, on or about 4/6/23: A foreman of Cedar Lane Construction LLC was directing and participating in the setting of trusses, while working over 30 feet from ground without fall protection of any kind. Cedar Lane Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1518928, citation number 1, item number 1(a) and was affirmed as a final order on 8/3/21, with respect to a workplace located at 1024 Caldwell Hill Road, Lisle, NY 13797.
