29 CFR 1904.29(b)(1): What do I need to do to complete the OSHA 300 Log? You must enter information about your business at the top of the OSHA 300 Log, enter a one or two line description for each recordable injury or illness, and summarize this information on the OSHA 300-A at the end of the year. a) On or about March 31, 2023, the 2023 OSHA 300 Log was not completed in adequate detail for the injuries that occurred on March 23, 2023 in that Column (F) did not explain what part(s) of the body was injured and what specifically injured the employee; Case number 3 in Column (J) had lost work days that were not recorded; and Case numbers 1 and 2 in Column (K) had 6 lost work days for both cases which were recorded as missing 3 days of work.
