29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards related to working at heights greater than six feet without the use of a fall protection system. This was most recently documented on March 27, 2023, at the worksite located near 8th Street and Harris Avenue, Trenton, Missouri. 1. Employee #1 was exposed to fall hazards when working at heights greater than six feet without the use of a fall protection system. 2. Employee #2 was exposed to fall hazards when working at heights greater than six feet without the use of a fall protection system. 3. Employee #3 was exposed to fall hazards when working at heights greater than six feet without the use of a fall protection system.
