29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Pan mixer; On or about March 15, 2023, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to a caught-in hazard in that employees were allowed to conduct maintenance activities, such as cleaning the mixer, without utilizing energy control procedures.
