29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section: (a) Residential home at 126 Riverlake Drive, Woodstock, GA: On or about March 4th, 2023, an employee performing trenching work was exposed to a cave-in hazard, in that the employer did not provide an adequate protective system to protect the employee from a cave-in hazard, of a trench measured at approximately 26-ft. long, 7-ft. deep, and 1.6-ft. wide.
