29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5): Enclosed workplaces were not so constructed, equipped, and maintained as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, or other vermin: (a) Location - 790 Waverly Road, North Andover, MA 01845: Sales Floor and Receiving Room On or about 2/27/2023, the employer has not implemented an effective/adequate vermin control plan as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents. Employees have been exposed on a routine basis to hazards such as, but not limited to, live and dead rodents, rodent fecal matter, and rodent urine. Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc. dba Petco was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1544881, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/02/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 4101 U.S. 77, CORPUS CHRISTI, TX 78410.
