29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(v):Fork-lifts shall not be used to support scaffold platforms unless the entire platform is attached to the fork and the fork-lift is not moved horizontally while the platform is occupied. The employer is failing to protect employee(s) from fall injuries. This was most recently documented on February 15, 2023, at 3915 S. 210th Cir. Elkhorn, Nebraska. The employer failed to ensure that employee(s) were not exposed to fall hazards while working from a platform not directly attached or secured to a power industrial truck. Garcia Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1621484, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 3, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 18515 Wirt Circle, Elkhorn, Nebraska.
