29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent fire and entrapment hazards as demonstrated on or about February 10, 2023, where the sales floor emergency exit on the northwest side of the building was screwed shut from both the inside and outside. Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.36(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1566292, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 20, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 880 Spruce Street, Baldwin, Wisconsin, 54002.
