29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1): Circular handfed crosscut table saw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: On or about January 12, 2023, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure the Grizzly, model GO502, 18" cut off saw was guarded to prevent employees from placing their hands into the point of operation to retrieve pieces of material, exposing the employees to amputation hazards. Buffalo Creek Millwork, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.213(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1328610, Citation Number 1, Item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on August 27, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 509 N I-35 East, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
