29 CFR 1910.140(c)(18): The employer did not ensure that personal fall protection systems are inspected before initial use during each work shift for mildew, wear, damage, and other deterioration, and defective components were not removed from service. On or about 2/3/2023, Construction Trailer Specialists, Inc. had not ensured the personal fall protection system was inspected prior to use during each shift for wear, damage, or defective components and were not removed from service. The securing pins to the vertical structural members of the fall protection anchorage system were not secured by cotter pins and not been removed from service until the defective condition was repaired. Construction Trailer Specialists, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 19210.140(c)(18), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1333092, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/31/2018, with respect to a workplace located 2535 Rose Parkway in Sikeston, MO
