29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(ii): Flammable or combustible liquids were not stored in tanks or closed containers: a. The door - On or about February 2, 2023, the employer had a mostly full 5-gallon blue kerosene safety can that was not closed and sealed to prevent spillage or off gassing while not in use, exposing employees to a fire hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
