29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Location: 120-122 Fleming Avenue. Newark, NJ 07105 a) The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls. Employees engaged in residential framing activities worked at or near the edge, at heights greater than 6 feet and were not protected from falls by use of a personal fall arrest system or guardrail system. Violation occurred on or around February 1, 2023 b) The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls. Employees engaged in residential framing activities used a job built wood ladder to access a work platform that was approximately 9-feet above the next lower level, that was not protected by guardrails and employees did not use any other means of fall protection.
