29 CFR 1926.960(b)(2): Electric lines and equipment were not considered or treated as energized when they had not been de-energized in accordance with 1926.961. At a worksite located at 9909 Walnut, Kansas City, Missouri, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from energized parts and electrical hazards by de-energizing equipment, donning proper PPE, rubber insulating gloves, sleeves or cover up protection of uninsulated parts, including but not limited to rubber mats or live line tools, during field work on a ground transformer rated at 7200 phase to phase KV. PAR Electrical Contractors Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.960(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1413163, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on October 24, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 6760 West Farm Road 68, Willard, Missouri 65781.
