29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: (a) On or about December 27, 2022, and at times prior, the employer did not train employees on the recognition of hazards associated with trenching and excavation work, regulations applicable to their environment to control or eliminate hazards and protective measures used to prevent trench collapse.
