29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): a) Throughout the facility, located at 503 Morgan Lakes Industrial Blvd, #200, Savannah, GA 31407, on or about October 24, 2022, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that the employer did not certify each powered industrial truck operator had been trained and evaluated in the operation of powered industrial trucks. Factory Direct Wholesale, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1416226, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on (date), with respect to a workplace located at 2855 N. Berkeley Lake Road NW, Duluth, GA ,30096.
