29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a. 7088 Long Lake Road, Canal Winchester, Ohio: On or about October 20, 2022, employees were using pneumatic nailers to fasten singles to the roof without eye protection, thereby exposing employees to struck by hazards to the eyes and face. Y4 Framing and Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard, 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1604744, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/26/2022, with respect to a workplace located at Morison Road Waterbury Court Gahanna, OH 43230.
