29 CFR 1926.502(i)(4): All covers were not color coded or marked with the word "HOLE" or "COVER" to provide warning of the hazard: a) Naval Station Oceana Building #530: On or about 09/21/2022, floor openings were provided with covers however were not color coded or marked with the word hole or cover to warn employees of the hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
