29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: On or about 09/01/2022, The employer did not ensure that eye protective equipment was used when employees were exposed to eye injury while using pneumatic nail guns. The employer (Ivan Torres dba Torres Construction) was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1301601, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/06/2018, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 45 On Beauregard Dr, Villages At Wingate, Shiloh, IL 62269.
