29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above the lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b). a) New Home Construction, Bluegrass Road, Lancaster, PA - Homesite 19, House Roof - On or about July 7, 2022, employees who were performing residential roofing work were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet and were not utilizing acceptable means or methods of fall protection. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Country Meadows Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number11346565, citation number 12, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 24, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 700 -800 Breezy Heights Way, Lititz, PA 17543.
