29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(i): Each employee on walking/working surfaces was not protected from falling through holes (including skylights) more than 6 feet (1.8 m) above lower levels by personal fall arrest systems, covers or guardrail systems erected around such holes: a) On or about June 15, 2022, employees and subcontractor employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 30 feet through unprotected skylights located throughout to roof deck work area. Pepper Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(4)(i) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1338461, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 18, 2018, with respect to a worksite located at 501 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, Illinois. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
