Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
Section (5)(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards: a) Meadow Gold Dairy, Purchase For Resale Cooler, Green Steel Storage Racks: On or about June 14, 2022 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while conducting tasks such as, but not limited to: loading and unloading pallets of dairy products from the storage racks that did not display a plaque designating load ratings. b) Meadow Gold Dairy, Purchase For Resale Cooler, All Steel Storage Racks: On or about June 14, 2022 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while conducting tasks such as, but not limited to: loading and unloading pallets of dairy products from the steel storage racks that contained damage. DFA Dairy Brands Fluid, LLC (dba: Meadow Gold Dairy) was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard Section (5)(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1528324, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/18/21, with respect to a workplace located at 312 3rd Ave. South, Great Falls, MT 59405.
