29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: (a) 158 W. Jackson Street, New Holland, PA - On or about June 9, 2022, the employer had failed to perform periodic inspection of procedures such as ENGRM - 001 Condensate Pump # 1, ENGRM - 002 Condensate Pump # 2 and an additional 288 procedures and the 65 personnel engaged in lockout tagout in 2021 or 2022, exposing employees to caught in and struck by hazards from inadvertent start up or release of stored energy. Advanced Food Products was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.147(c)(6)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1242957, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/21/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2121 Olson Dr., Chippewa Falls, WI 54729. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
