29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. On or about May 17, 2022 during the installation of roofing material at the job site located at Lot 75 Championship Cir NE, Massillon, Ohio 44646; the employer did not ensure employees working on the roof of a new construction home were protected from possible danger of eye injury from impact, or from flying objects from the employees installing roofing material. Delrio's Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.102(a)(1) Eye Protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1497815 , citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/30/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 4097 Fairgrove Ave SW, Massillon, Ohio 44646. Delrio's Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.102(a)(1) Eye Protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1453121, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/15/2020, with respect to a workplace located at New Construction Site Triple Crown Cir, Massillon, Ohio 44646. Delrio's Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.102(a)(1) Eye Protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1386185, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/31/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 7290 Jimmie St SW, Massillon, Ohio 44646.
