Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) On or about May 10, 2022, during a roofing project located at 6607 Dora Blvd, INDEPENDENCE, OH 44131; the employer did not ensure that employees on the roof were protected from a fall of 9.1 feet by utilizing guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or alternative fall protection measures. Charm Builders, LTD was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1253476, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/04/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 47 2nd Street NE, MASSILLON, OH 44646.
