29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip, trip and struck-by hazards, as demonstrated on or about April 29, 2022, in the back storage room and on the sales floor, the walkways were not kept clean, sanitary, and orderly. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that the back storage room and the sales floor are clean and organized.
